Tansin tablet uses:

Tansin 50mg Tablet is a prescription medication primarily indicated for the management of hypertension and various heart conditions, including:

• Hypertension Treatment: This tablet is used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension).
• Diabetic Nephropathy Management: It is indicated for the management of kidney disease caused by diabetes in type II diabetes mellitus.
• Prevention of Strokes: The medication is used to lower the risk of strokes in patients with high blood pressure and certain heart conditions.
• Treatment of Congestive Heart Failure: It may be used in the treatment of congestive heart failure.
• Myocardial Infarction: It may be prescribed in the management of myocardial infarction (heart attack).
• Primary Ovarian Cancer: This tablet is indicated for specific cases of primary ovarian cancer.
• Slowing the Progression of Diabetic Kidney Disease: The medication is used to slow the worsening of diabetic kidney disease (nephropathy) in patients with type 2 diabetes who have or had high blood pressure.
• Prevention of Diabetic Kidney Disease: It is used to lower the chance of worsening diabetic kidney disease in patients with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
• Management of Hypertension in Emergency Situations: It may be used for the treatment of hypertension, especially in emergencies.

فالج کی روک تھام: یہ دوا ہائی بلڈ پریشر اور دل کی بعض حالتوں والے مریضوں میں فالج کے خطرے کو کم کرنے کے لیے استعمال کی جاتی ہے۔

پرائمری ڈمبگرنتی کینسر: یہ گولی ابتدائی ڈمبگرنتی کینسر کے مخصوص کیسوں کے لیے تجویز کی جاتی ہے۔

ذیابیطس کے گردے کی بیماری کی ترقی کو سست کرنا: دوائیوں کا استعمال ذیابیطس کے گردے کی بیماری (نیفروپیتھی) کی خرابی کو کم کرنے کے لیے ٹائپ 2 ذیابیطس والے مریضوں میں کیا جاتا ہے جن کو ہائی بلڈ پریشر ہے یا تھا۔
ذیابیطس کے گردے کی بیماری کی روک تھام: اسے ٹائپ 2 ذیابیطس اور ہائی بلڈ پریشر والے مریضوں میں ذیابیطس کے گردے کی بیماری کے بگڑنے کے امکانات کو کم کرنے کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔
ہنگامی حالات میں ہائی بلڈ پریشر کا انتظام: یہ ہائی بلڈ پریشر کے علاج کے لیے استعمال کیا جا سکتا ہے، خاص طور پر ہنگامی حالات میں۔

Tansin tablet side effects:

Patients administered this medication may experience:

• Liver function abnormalities
• Rarely, anaphylactic reaction (life-threatening allergic reaction)
• Angioedema (swelling under the skin surface)
• Hepatitis (inflammation of the liver)
• Anemia (lack of red blood cells)
• Hypotension (low blood pressure)
• Renal (kidney) impairment
• Increased blood urea, creatinine, and potassium.

Tansin tablet precautions:

• Avoid abrupt discontinuation, as it may worsen angina or cause rebound hypertension.
• Use caution with patients with a history of heart failure.
• Regularly monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment.
• Pregnancy and lactation: Use only if the potential benefits outweigh the risks, and under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Tansin tablet dosage:

• For adults: the recommended dosage is 50mg once daily, as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
• For children (below 18 years): Take Tansin 50mg tablet by the formula 2.5 mg/kg once a day.
