Provas-N Forte tablets are used for the following health Conditions:

Muscle Relaxation

Provas-N Forte tablets contain a muscle relaxant that helps alleviate muscle spasms and stiffness, providing relief in conditions requiring muscle relaxation.

Pain Relief

These tablets contain Paracetamol (acetaminophen), a widely used pain reliever. They help in reducing pain associated with various conditions, such as muscle strains, sprains, arthritis, period pain, and headaches.

Fever Reduction

Contra-indications

Provas-N forte tablets are Contraindicated for the following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity or allergy to Paracetamol, Orphenadrine Citrate, or any other components of the medication.
• Glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye) or urinary retention (difficulty urinating) due to the anticholinergic effects of Orphenadrine Citrate.
• Severe liver disease, as Paracetamol metabolism may be impaired, leading to potential liver toxicity.
• Myasthenia gravis, a neuromuscular disorder, due to the muscle-relaxant effects of Orphenadrine Citrate.
• Severe cardiac disease or arrhythmias, such as Orphenadrine Citrate can exacerbate these conditions.
• Gastrointestinal obstruction or ileus (lack of intestinal movement), as Orphenadrine Citrate, may worsen these conditions due to its anticholinergic effects.
• Concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of discontinuation of MAOIs, may lead to a severe hypertensive crisis.
• Children under the age of 12, as safety and efficacy have not been established in this age group.
• Pregnancy, especially during the first trimester, unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks, as Orphenadrine Citrate may have adverse effects on fetal development.
• Breastfeeding, as Orphenadrine Citrate may pass into breast milk and affect the nursing infant.
