Orno Tablets Uses:

Orno Rapid Tablets 8 mg are a short-term pain reliever for various conditions, like dental surgery pain, inflammation-related pain, lumbosciatica, and arthritis discomfort.

• Short-term relief for mild pain, such as pain after dental surgery.
• Short-term therapy for mild to moderate pain caused by extra-articular inflammation.
• Treatment for acute lumbosciatica pain.
• Symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Some side effects of Orno Rapid Tablets 8 mg are:

• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea
• Dyspepsia
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Dizziness
• Headache
• Increased blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels
• Increased serum transaminase levels
• Increased alkaline phosphatase level

Orno Rapid Warnings

• Warning 1: Renal Impairment: Patients with mild renal impairment (serum creatinine 150–300µmol/L) should be monitored quarterly, and those with moderate renal impairment (serum creatinine 300–700µmol/L) should be monitored at 1 to 2-month intervals. If renal function deteriorates while using lornoxicam, discontinue it.
• Warning 2: Coagulation Disorders: Patients with coagulation disorders should undergo careful clinical monitoring and laboratory assessment (e.g., PTT).
• Warning 3: Liver Diseases: Clinical monitoring and laboratory assessment at regular intervals are recommended for patients with liver diseases (e.g., liver cirrhosis), including liver enzymes.

Precaution:

Clinical monitoring at regular intervals is recommended for patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulceration and bleeding. Discontinue lornoxicam if peptic ulceration and/or gastrointestinal bleeding occur, taking appropriate therapeutic actions.

Contraindications:

• Patients have an allergy to lornoxicam or any of its components.
• Patients with hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., asthma, rhinitis, angioedema, or urticaria) to other NSAIDs, including acetylsalicylic acid,
• Patients experiencing gastrointestinal bleeding, cerebrospinal bleeding, or other blood diseases.
• Patients with active peptic ulceration or a history of recurrent peptic ulceration.
• Patients with severe liver impairment.
• Patients with severe renal impairment (serum creatinine >700 µmol/L).
• Patients with severe heart insufficiency.
• Patients with severe thrombocytopenia.
• Elderly patients (>65 years) weighing less than 50 kg are undergoing acute surgery.
