Avil 25mg tablet is an antihistamine used to treat various allergic conditions such as hay fever, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and seasonal allergies, including

• Relief of Allergic Rhinitis: Avil 25mg is often used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose associated with allergic rhinitis.
• Treatment of Allergic Conjunctivitis: It can help to relieve the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, including itching, redness, and swelling of the eyes.

Avil Tablet dosage

It is important to follow your healthcare provider’s dosing instructions or the instructions on the medication label. general dosing guidelines for Avil 25mg:

• Adults and children over 12 years old:
  • The usual dosage is one tablet (25 mg) taken orally every 4 to 6 hours, as required.
  • Do not take more than 6 tablets (150 mg) in 24 hours unless recommended by a doctor.
• Children 6 to 12 years old:
  • The recommended dosage is half a tablet (12.5 mg) taken orally every 4 to 6 hours as required.
  • Do not take more than 3 tablets (75 mg) in 24 hours unless recommended by a doctor.
• Children under 6 years old:
  • Avil 25 mg tablets are not recommended for children under 6 years of age unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.

Always take Avil 25mg with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablets; swallow them whole.
