Trexan Tablet Uses

Trexan tablet are used to following health condition:

• Cancer Treatment: Trexan tablets is used to treat certain types of cancers such as leukemia, breast cancer, and lung cancer by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells.
• Rheumatoid Arthritis: This tablet is used to manage and reduce symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis by suppressing the immune system to decrease inflammation and slow disease progression.
• Psoriasis: It is used to treat severe psoriasis that is not responsive to other treatments by slowing down the growth of skin cells.
• Crohn’s Disease: It is used off-label to manage Crohn’s disease by reducing inflammation in the digestive tract.
• Lymphoma: This tablet is used in the treatment of certain lymphomas, such as non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, by targeting rapidly dividing cells.
• Ectopic Pregnancy: This medicine is used to treat ectopic pregnancy by stopping the growth of the fertilized egg outside the uterus.

کینسر کا: ٹریکسان گولی لیوکیمیا، چھاتی کے کینسر، اور پھیپھڑوں کے کینسر جیسے مخصوص کینسر کے علاج کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے، جو کینسر کے خلیات کی نشوونما کو روکتا ہے۔

رمیٹی سندشوت (رمیٹیوائڈ آرتھر سائیٹ): یہ گولی رمیٹی سندشوت کی علامات کو کم کرنے اور اس کی رفتار کو کم کرنے کے لیے مدافعتی نظام کو دبانے میں مدد دیتی ہے۔

Trexan Tablet Dosage

• Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriasis: Typically, the dosage ranges from 7.5 mg to 25 mg per week, either orally or by injection. Dosage adjustments are made based on the patient’s response and tolerance.
• Cancer Treatment: Dosage varies widely depending on the type and stage of cancer, ranging from 10 mg/m² to 30 mg/m², administered orally or by injection, typically on a weekly schedule.
• Crohn’s Disease: Commonly, 15 mg to 25 mg weekly by injection.

Precautions

• Liver and Kidney Function: Regular monitoring of liver and kidney function is necessary due to potential toxicity.

Warnings

• Bone Marrow Suppression: Trexan can cause severe bone marrow suppression leading to anemia, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia. Regular blood tests are required.
• Liver Toxicity: Risk of severe liver damage; regular liver function tests are necessary.
• Lung Disease: Can cause interstitial pneumonitis, a potentially fatal lung condition. Report any new or worsening respiratory symptoms immediately.
• Gastrointestinal Toxicity: Can cause severe gastrointestinal toxicity including mucositis and diarrhea. Monitor and report any severe abdominal symptoms.
