Travocort Cream

Travocort cream is a cosmetic drug known for having two different effects. It contains isoconazole nitrate, which kills fungi, and diflucortolone valerate, which is a corticosteroid. given to people with fungal diseases and inflammation-related skin issues.

Uses: 

Some common uses of Travocort cream include:

1. Fungal Infections with Inflammation:  Travocort is often prescribed for skin infections caused by fungi, especially when inflammation is present. It is effective against various dermatophyte fungi, yeasts, and other types of fungi that can cause skin infections.
2. Tinea Infections: Tinea infections, such as ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), are common fungal infections that may be treated with this cream.
3. Candidiasis: This is used in the treatment of candidiasis, which is a fungal infection caused by the Candida species. It can affect different areas of the body, including the skin.
4. Eczema with Secondary Fungal Infection: In cases where eczema or dermatitis is complicated by a secondary fungal infection,it may be prescribed to address both the inflammation and the fungal component.

   • Telangiectasia (dilation of small blood vessels near the surface of the skin)
