Side Effect:

Ethambutol: Dizziness, color blindness, visual neuritis, joint discomfort, and gastrointestinal issues.

Rifampicin: Skin rash, liver damage, flu-like symptoms, and digestive problems.

Isoniazid: Skin rash, gastrointestinal problems, and peripheral neuropathy are all associated with isoniazid.

Pyrazinamide: Skin rash, liver damage, joint discomfort, and digestive issues.

Indication:

This drug is recommended for those with mycobacterium-related infections and tuberculosis adjuncts. a pigmented, numb cutaneous area associated with both paucibacillary and multibacillary leprosy. a bacterial infection called brucellosis, a severe case of pneumonia called legionnaires disease, and endocarditis, an infection of the heart’s inner lining.

Dosage:

Adults: For the first two months of treatment, four tablets taken once a day are usually the suggested dosage. For the 4–7 month continuation phase that follows the first phase, the dosage may be lowered to 2 pills once daily.
