Lefora Tablet is a medication that contains Leflunomide as an active ingredient. It is primarily used for the following conditions:

Lefora Tablet Side effects

There are two types of side effects common and serious side effects:

Common side effects may include:

• Having diarrhea

• Mouth feeling dry
• Pain in my stomach
• Head hurts
• Pain in the back
• An upset stomach

Serious side effects may include:

• Pain in the chest
• Less high blood pressure
• Constantly throwing up and feeling sick
• Blood pressure going up
• Kidney sickness

Precaution and Warning

While using Lefora Tablet 20mg, it is important to be aware of the following precautions and warnings:

• Hypersensitivity: It should not be used by patients who are known to have a hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to Leflunomide or any of the other components of the tablet.
• Pregnancy: It is advised to avoid using Lefora Tablet during pregnancy. If pregnancy is planned, a drug elimination procedure should be followed to clear the medication from the system before conception.
• Severe Immunodeficiency or Bone Marrow Dysfunction: This Tablet should not be used by patients with severe immunodeficiency or bone marrow dysfunction.
• Hypoproteinemia: It should be avoided in patients with hypoproteinemia, a condition characterized by low levels of protein in the blood.

Dosage

The following is a general guideline for the dosage of Lefora Tablet 20mg:

1. Rheumatoid Arthritis: The usual starting dose is 100mg (five tablets) once daily for the first three days. After the initial loading dose, the maintenance dose is typically reduced to 20mg (one tablet) once daily.
2. Psoriatic Arthritis: The recommended dose is 20mg (one tablet) once daily.
3. Prevention of Transplant Rejection: The recommended dose is 20mg (one tablet) once daily.
