Provas Duo Side Effects

Provas Duo Tablets contain two ingredients i.e. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen each one has its own side effects.

•  Side effects due to Paracetamol include
  • Bronchospasm
  • Blood dyscrasias
  • Centrilobular Necrosis
  • Liver Damage
  • Skin Rashes
  • Renal Failure
• Side effects due to Ibrufen
  • Thrombocytopenia
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Vomiting
  • Constipation
  • liver and renal failure

Contra-Indications:

Provas Duo is contra-indicated in health conditions like hypertension, peptic ulcer, coagulation defect, and hepatic and renal failure. And have no contraindications in pregnant and lactating mothers.

Special Precautions and Warnings

Overdose of paracetamol increases the risk of liver damage in non-cirrhotic liver disease. Some time causes Gastric Intestinal bleeding in elder patients which is fatal.

Dose

it is usually advised as a two tablets a day. The doctor may increase the dose according to need.
