Precautions and Considerations:

Before taking Prenate-90 Tablet, Extended Release, it is important to consider the following:

  • If you are allergic to any of the chemicals or to other things in it, tell your doctor or chemist.
  • There may be inactive ingredients in this product that can cause allergic reactions or other issues. To find out more, talk to your chemist.
  • Tell your doctor or chemist about your health history, especially if you have a disorder where your body makes too much iron (like hemochromatosis or hemosiderosis), if you drink too much or use alcohol too much, if you have liver problems, or if you have stomach or intestine problems (like ulcers or colitis).
  • If your multivitamin has folic acid in it, you should talk to your doctor or chemist before taking it if you have
  • pernicious anaemia, which is a lack of vitamin B12. Folic acid might change some lab tests for vitamin B12 shortage, but it won’t treat this anaemia. Nerve problems like peripheral neuropathy can happen if you don’t fix a vitamin B12 deficiency. For more information, talk to your doctor or chemist.
  • Talk to your dentist or doctor about all the medicines, over-the-counter medicines, and herbal items you use before surgery.

Dosage instructions:

  • Take orally once daily or as directed.
  • Do not crush or chew; swallow whole or split as advised.
  • It is best taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
  • Avoid antacids, dairy, tea, or coffee within 2 hours of taking them.
  • Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after ingestion.
